The Charlottetown Curling Club will host its Annual General Meeting on Monday May 31st at 6:30pm. All members are urged to attend.

The 2010 Dominion National Club Championships will be hosted jointly by the Charlottetown Curling Club and the Cornwall Curling Club. Twenty-eight teams from every province and territory will play for the championship November 23-28, 2010. If you are interested in volunteering for any aspect of this event, please complete a volunteer form available at www.thedominioncurls.ca.

Today, the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts announced its Big Ticket will go on sale February 1, 2010.
The Big Ticket is definitely the best way to see the big picture at the Scotties, said Kim Dolan, Chair of the host committee for the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, February 19-27.
The 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be played in the Charlottetown Civic Centre featuring 12 women's teams representing the 11 provinces and territories, as well as the defending Scotties champions competing as Team Canada.

It was announced on Friday in Charlottetown that the Scotties Tournament of Hearts would return to PEI? capital city for the third time in the history of the Canadian women? curling championship. The event will be played in the Charlottetown Civic Centre from February 19-27 2011, with draws telecast on TSN. On hand to make the announcement were Greg Stremlaw, CEO of the Canadian Curling Association (CCA), Warren Hansen, CCA Director of Event Operations and Media, Wayne Long, Events Development Officer for the City of Charlottetown, and Kim Dolan, local host committee chair.
In addition to this announcement, Nancy Marcus, Corporate Vice President of Consumer Marketing for Kruger International was in attendance to announce that Kruger, the leading tissue manufacturer in Canada, will be continuing its unprecedented 29 year sponsorship of women? curling, with a new multi-year agreement.
Our club will benefit from this announcement, as will all clubs on the Island, and we will be looking for volunteers for almost every aspect of the event. If you are interested in being involved please see Rob at the club. Lets show Canada what PEI hospitality is all about!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CANADIAN CHAMPIONS!

Brett Gallant, Adam Casey, Anson Carmody, Jamie Danbrook, Stephen Burgess and Coach Peter Gallant have not only captured the 2009 Canadian Junior Curling title, but have also won Silver at the World Junior Curling Championships in Vancouver.
