The Annual Labatt Charlabel gets under way at the Charlottetown Curling Club on Friday February 26th with three draws. The girls will be arriving home separately on different flights late into Monday night, so there will be a reception for them at the Charlottetown Curling Club on Tuesday evening at 5:00. CBC News will be covering the event live and everyone is welcome to attend.

Our Ladies provincial championship team of Kathy O'Rourke, Erin Carmody, Gerri-Lynn Ramsay, Tricai Affleck and Shelly Bradley has finished in first place after round-robin play at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Sault Ste Marie Ontario. The team, coached by Al Ledgerwood, has also won the semi-final against Ontario and will now play in Sunday's FINALS! Way to Go Girls! Everyone is welcome to come down to the club and watch the game on the big screen Sunday at 3:30pm.

Today, the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts announced its Big Ticket will go on sale February 1, 2010.
The Big Ticket is definitely the best way to see the big picture at the Scotties, said Kim Dolan, Chair of the host committee for the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, February 19-27.
The 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be played in the Charlottetown Civic Centre featuring 12 women's teams representing the 11 provinces and territories, as well as the defending Scotties champions competing as Team Canada.

Congratulations to our Scottie Provincial Champions team of Erin Carmody, Geri-Lynn Ramsay, Kathy O'Rourke, and Trisha Affleck, with coach Al Ledgerwood, who stole two points in the final end to beat the host Montague Curling Club's Tammy Dewar rink by an 8-6 score, and win their first Scotties Provincial Women's Curling Championship. They will now advance to the national Scotties, January 30 to February 7 in Sault Ste. Marie Ont.

Brett Gallant, Adam Casey, Anson Carmody, Jamie Danbrook, Stephen Burgess and Coach Peter Gallant have not only captured the 2009 Canadian Junior Curling title, but have also won Silver at the World Junior Curling Championships in Vancouver.
